Registration

GRACS is an official UT registered student org. We need to keep this registration up-to-date. UT Student org. info: http://deanofstudents.utexas.edu/sald/studentorgs/

GRACS' Yearly Obligations

Some of these things are the duty of the GRACS Executive Committee, some are the duties of an officer, some are the duties of a standing committee, and some would necessitate a Project Committee.

August

September

August through December

  • Conduct Events.
  • Check mail box (in GDC 2.304) at least monthly.

November

  • Open nominations for two representatives (to start in Spring), per the Elections procedure.

January

February

January through May

  • Conduct Events.
  • Check mail box (in GDC 2.304) at least weekly.

April

  • Re-register as a UT student organization in HornsLink (costs $10).
  • New Students Committee: Help Grad Office with e-mail lists for incoming students.
  • Open nominations for three representatives (to start in Fall), per the Elections procedure.

May

  • Coordinate the Golden Turtle Award hand-off at the Ph.D. hooding ceremony, if the current holder is graduating.
