UTCS graduate students are encouraged to present a talk on their research in the GRACS Speaker Series. Talks can be either conference style or job talk style, but the talk should be accessible to students and faculty from all areas of computer science.
If you are interested in giving a talk, please email gracs@cs. Note that you must signup at least two weeks before the talk date.
For speakers, this series should be a great opportunity to inform students and faculty of their research, practice their talk skills, and get feedback on their talk (and research) from students and faculty outside their own research group and area. For attendees, this series should be a good opprotunity to learn about other research going on in the department and learn how to be a better speaker through watching many different speaking styles.
