The first game was 10-5 as Ed methodically picked apar the defense from the front line.  Allen stole the glory, however, by putting a blazing bullet through for the 10th goal.  The second game ended up 10-3 (or there abouts) as Ed continued to dominant from the front lines.

+The match between [[https://www.cs.utexas.edu/~julian|Julian]] /[[https://www.cs.utexas.edu/~todd|Todd]] and [[https://www.cs.utexas.edu/~pstone|Peter]] /[[https://www.cs.utexas.edu/~mazda|Mazda]] was incredibly intense and hard-fought.  Two of the star players in the tourney, Julian and Peter, were matched up against each other with Julian on offense and Peter on defense.  It was an intense battle between those two as Peter's defense was nearly flawless and he was able to score quite a few goals from the D as well.  In the first game, Mazda and Peter took a 9-6 lead, but Julian and Todd fought back to tie it at 9-9.  The last goal was a long battle, with each team having some close shots and great saves, but Mazda finally put in the winning goal.  The first game lasted about 30 minutes with each goal taking a few minutes.  The second game was similar, each goal came slowly, and it ended similarly to the first, with Peter and Mazda winning 10-8.

+Lorenzo and Mike took down Uli and Dan in a tightly fought game.  Uli's ball control from the front line was amazing to watch as he patiently worked for every shot.  In the end, the game was largely played between Uli and Mike as Uli controlled the ball for extended periods before shooting, with Mike frequently making the save and then returning the favor.

+In the first semi-final match up Mazda and Peter jumped out to an early 6-1 lead before Ed and Allen crept back into the game.  The score was eventually 9-7 with Allen and Ed on top, before Peter and Mazda tied it up at 9s.  Allen put the last one in to cap the big come back and give Ed/Allen a 1 game advantage.  The second game started similarly with Peter and Mazda jumping out to a 5-2 lead.  Then Ed started putting them away, leading to a final of 10-6 for Ed and Allen.

+The trash talking in the build up to the finals commenced following Lorenzo and Mike's resounding victory over Mikhail and Keerti.  The tension leading to the finals is building, but who will come out on top???
