GRACS Speaker Series

A UTCS graduate student presents a talk on their research every Tuesday at 2pm at the GRACS Speaker Series. Talks can be either conference style or job talk style, but the talk should be accessible to students and faculty from all areas of computer science.

If you are interested in giving a talk, please login and sign up. Note that you must signup at least two and a half weeks before the talk date due to departmental requirements. You can also email Katie Genter (katie@cs) if you don't want to go though the hassle of creating an account and logging in.

For speakers, this series should be a great opportunity to inform students and faculty of their research, practice their talk skills, and get feedback on their research directions from students and faculty outside their own research group and area. For attendees, this series should be a good opprotunity to learn about other research going on in the department and learn how to be a better speaker through watching many different speaking styles.
