====== GRACS Fall 2010 Foosball Tournament ====== ===== Updates & Notes ===== ---- * November 18 - Sam and Todd defeated Manos and Sangmin in three sets. After winning the first set 10-4, Sam and Todd lost the second set 5-10. They rebounded in the decisive third set though, with a score of 10-6 to claim 1st place! In the third place game, Julian and Shivaram downed Mahdi and Matthew in two quick sets with scores of 10-3 and 10-4 to claim 3rd place. Thanks to all for a great fall foosball series. GRACS plans to host singles and doubles tournaments in the spring (hopefully sponsored by Yahoo!). ---- * November 12 - Manos and Sangmin defeated Julian and Shivaram in two sets with scores of 10-8 and 10-5. Manos and Sangmin advance to the finals where they will face Sam and Todd, while Julian and Shivaram will play Mahdi and Matthew for 3rd place. ---- * November 11 - Sam and Todd beat Mahdi and Matthew after losing the first set 8-10, with second and third set scores of 10-3 and 10-7. Sam and Todd advance to the finals with this win, while Mahdi and Matthew will attempt to claim 3rd place. ---- * November 8 - After losing their first set 8-10, Mahdi and Matthew stormed back to win sets two and three with scores of 10-2 and 10-2 against Navid and Reza. ---- * November 4 - Julian and Shivaram beat Katie and Amin in two sets, with scores of 10-4 and 10-1. An hour later, Sam and Todd edged out Srinath and Guillermo in two sets, with close scores of 10-9 and 10-9. ---- * November 3 - Manos and Sangmin won against Anil and Harsh in two games.
